Charity Kit for Japan

I am here to ask all of you to give a little.  In return our Studio Designers have created a gorgeous Charity kit for Japan.  All proceeds from the sale of this kit (I mean 100% all) will go to Samaritan’s Purse specifically earmarked for Japan Relief.

We have all been shocked and saddened by the utter devastion wrought by the March 11th earthquake and tsunami.  The ongoing battle with Japan’s nuclear reactors and the damage of the fallout continues to horrify all of us.  That one of the richest countries on this planet, one with so many resources, can suffer such a great fall is a scary wake-up call for us all.  My prayers and thoughts are with everyone affected.  If ever I needed a magic wand, it is now.

I have no magic wand.  I do have a ton of compassion, a modicum of talent and a small internet store.  I also have an amazing team of Designers who jump whenever I call for help.  Together, and with your help, we hope to raise as much money as possible.  So please, take a look at our kit, spend a little of your hard-earned money and help.

New Collection, Featured Designer and a free sampler

We have a new coordinated collection at theStudio: Mothers & Daughters - it's a collection of alpha's, bundles, clusters, kits, quickpages and papers using the same theme and palette.

My contribution to the Mothers & Daughters Collection focuses on time spend together, talking, remembering while creating needlework heirlooms. Beautifully realistic ribbon embroidery, great textured "fabric papers", some tools of the trade, ribbons, stitching, a collection of ribbon initials and a cross-stitched alpha in two colors will help you to create wonderful pages to remember those special moments or that special quilt made by someone close to your heart.
